The Old Fluffy section of Bark Camp Creek in Whitley County is 0 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III-IV section. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are less demanding. Bark Camp Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections,
    the Old Fluffy section is the only one. The natural beauty of Kentucky and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. This section is very short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. The river winds through the Cumberland Plateau Mountains and
you get great scenery. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling rivers. There's camping available near Bark Camp Creek. No shortage of good hotels, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came.

Throughout the warm months highs here at Bark Camp Creek get into the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. High temperatures
 
during the winter are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Bark Camp Creek are in the 20's. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the Cumberland Plateau Mountains. Going for a hike along the Sheltowee Trace Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.
Bark Camp Creek gets lots of water; May is when you get the most rain here, and October on the other hand is the driest. Have a perfect hiking adventure along the Bark Camp Trail, and a splendid site to explore close by is Broad Gap Hollow.
