This section of Boone Creek in Fayette/Clark County is 6.3 miles long and has been rated as a class II(III) section by American Whitewater. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Lodging is available near the river, but if you don’t have     reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that.
