This stretch of Cumberland River in Kentucky is 12 miles long and has been rated as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are less demanding. The wonderful Kentucky scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. Some people prefer whitewater rafting
