I'm headed out to run Glenn's Creek in Frankfort, KY. She sure does look like a beauty. Love the land you tred upon. Says J. Monarch
If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so if you're not from around here don't forget that the rivers in this state are less demanding. This stretch of Glenn's Creek in Woodford County is 3 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III section of whitewater. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature
are great reasons to come. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. This stretch is short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. The campgrounds here at
Glenn's Creek are pretty good. The starting location is a short drive from Frankfort, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. This is the only paddling section along Glenn's Creek. The nature scenery of Woodford County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far.
