This section of Glenn's Creek in Kentucky is 3 miles long and it is classified as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. The natural beauty of Woodford County and the playfulness of the water make the trip here
worthwhile. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. If you're coming from Frankfort it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in
nature will have you coming back for more. There are no other stretches to paddle along Glenn's Creek than the Kentucky 1685 bridge to Distillery Pool stretch. There are some good hotels near the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. This is a pretty short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over.
