This stretch of Jouett Creek in Kentucky is 1.8 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV section. This section is quite short so better bring some good walking shoes. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if     you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The beautiful scenery of Kentucky and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners.
