This stretch of Allagash Stream in Maine is 5.5 miles long and is a class I-II section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. The natural beauty of Piscataquis County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Maine
