If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This section is very short so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times.
