The wonderful Somerset County scenery and the playfulness of the water beats anything. This is a very short stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance     then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Austin Stream doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the South Branch to Bingham stretch is the only one.
