This section of B Stream in Aroostock County is 4.3 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II section. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great reasons to come. There are no other stretches to paddle along B Stream than the 6th Bridge to Houlton     stretch. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with not too many other spots for that. There are some good hotels near the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The beautiful scenery of Aroostock County and the water flowing gracefully down B Stream will make you feel great. Briefly about the general area: During the summer here at B Stream, high temperatures regularly reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at B Stream dipping down into the 0's through winter nights.
