The Route 175 - Tidal Reversing Falls section of Blue Hill Falls is 1 miles long and has been rated as a class III section by American Whitewater. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. The campgrounds here at Blue Hill Falls are pretty good. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots
of good places for that around here. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. This is a very short stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more forgiving than the
national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. Blue Hill Falls doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Route 175 - Tidal Reversing Falls stretch is the only one.
