This section of Branch Lake Stream in Hancock County is 4 miles long and it is classified as a class III-V section by American Whitewater. The Branch Lake to Infant Street in Ellsworth section is the only paddling section along Branch Lake Stream. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so don't forget that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. Lodging is available near the     river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
