You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of places for that. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far     and near. The nature scenery of Maine and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile.
