This stretch of Depot Stream is 19 miles long and it is classified as a class II section by American Whitewater. The scenic beauty of Aroostook County and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill
