This is a short paddling stretch so better bring some good walking shoes. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. There are no other sections to paddle along Ellis Brook than the Ellis Bog to Chamberlain Lake section. The wonderful Piscataquis County scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great     attractions for lots of people. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding.
