This stretch of Fish River in Maine is 5.5 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-III section. The scenic beauty of Aroostook County and the water flowing gracefully down Fish River are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Maine are often more forgiving than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are less demanding.
