The Garland to French Stream stretch of Kenduskeag Stream in Maine is 7.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-II section of whitewater. The natural beauty of Penobscot County and the sparkling of the sunlight on     the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came.
