The Kenduskeag to Route 15 stretch of Kenduskeag Stream is 6 miles long and is a class II-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. The nature scenery of Penobscot County and the playfulness of the water beats anything. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. The starting location is a short drive from Bangor, if you're not
