Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Maine is often easier than elsewhere, so don't forget that rivers here are less demanding. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Whitewater paddling here in the White Mountains is a great experience.     There are no other stretches to paddle along Kennebago River than the Kennebago Lake to Bridge stretch. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. The beautiful scenery of Franklin Oxford County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here.
