This section of Little River in Maine is 4 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-II section of whitewater. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on an afternoon. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or     kayaking there are lots of good rivers for that around here. The US202 to Lord Road stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
