  The average Maine whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. This stretch of Little Androscoggin River in Maine is 4 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class IV section. The natural beauty of Maine and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one
    day trip. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people
coming here. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. The wild scenery of the White Mountains is great. The put-in location is a short drive from Lewiston-Auburn, as you can see on the road map further down.

the 70's while night lows are mostly in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Little Androscoggin River drop into the-10's.
