If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. The beautiful scenery of Maine and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you     coming back for more. The campgrounds here at Little Spencer Stream are pretty good.
