The beautiful White Mountains scenery is an added bonus. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. This is a pretty short section so better bring some good walking shoes. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you     might find the rivers here more forgiving, so don't forget that rivers here are less demanding. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The Aziscohos Dam to Wilsons Mills section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This section of Magalloway River in Oxford County is 2 miles long and is a class III-V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater.
