The Third East Branch to First East Branch section of Magalloway River is 8 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-IV section of whitewater. The scenic beauty of Maine and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream beats anything. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
