The campgrounds here at Millinocket Stream are pretty good. No need to look hard for hotels, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Millinocket Lake to Shad Pond section is the only paddling section along Millinocket Stream. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your sleeping bag.
