The average Maine whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. Highs during the winter are ordinarily in the 20's, and night lows at Moxie Stream through the winter usually descend into the-10's.
