The nature scenery of Maine and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. This stretch is mid length, it's good length for a morning trip. The wild scenery of the White Mountains is great. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Getting a good workout     and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Maine are often easier than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. The Pond in River to Lake Umbagog section is the only paddling section along Rapid River.
