The beautiful scenery of Aroostook County and the water flowing gracefully down Salmon Brook are reasons enough to come here and paddle. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. There are no other stretches to paddle along Salmon Brook than the New     Dunn Town Road to Aroostook River stretch. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
