This section of Sandy River is 2.5 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class V section of whitewater. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This section is quite short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are     lots of good spots for that around here. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more forgiving, so if you're not from around here don't forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners.
