  The Stony Brook to Michael Stream stretch of Sandy Stream is 5 miles long and it is classified as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater. The natural beauty of Maine and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip.
