The scenic beauty of Maine and the water flowing gracefully down Schoodic Stream attract people from near and far. This stretch of Schoodic Stream is 4 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-IV section of whitewater. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Schoodic Stream doesn't
have a lot of paddling sections, the Schoodic Lake to Miol-Howland Road section is the only one. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then
no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. There's camping available near Schoodic Stream.
