This stretch of Sheepscot River - West Branch is 11.3 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II section. The beautiful scenery of Waldo Lincoln County and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of spots for     that. There's camping available near Sheepscot River - West Branch. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here.
