The Ellsworth Falls to Ellsworth stretch of Union River in Hancock County is 0.5 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II section. Taking a little journey to close by Black Point is a wonderful idea; if you want to hit the beach, Jesse Beach is in the vicinity. Hales Beach is next to Union River if you're in a beach type of mood.
