Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Maine are often easier than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. Webster Brook doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Telos Landing to Grand Lake Matagamon stretch is the only     one. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. This stretch of Webster Brook is 15 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-V section of whitewater. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so why not pack your camp stove too. Briefly about the general area: All through the summertime, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Webster Brook, and the nighttime is somewhat cooler of course, generally in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Webster Brook sink into the-10's. Webster Brook gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; July is when you get   the most rain here while February is commonly the driest month. On a good day at Webster Brook you can take a hike along the Freezeout Road, and the Eagle Lake Tote Road is a great hiking trail close by.
