No need to look hard for hotels, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The Beaver Creek Park N Ride (I-70) to Alternate Route 40 section of Beaver Creek in Washington County is 4.5 miles long and is a class I(II) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. This is the only paddling stretch along Beaver Creek. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. Briefly about the general area: High temperatures at Beaver Creek during the summer months are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's; throughout   the dark hours in the winter at Beaver Creek temperatures drop to the 10's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Beaver Creek; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most; January meanwhile is the driest month.
