The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Lancaster, as you can see on the road map further down. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so don't forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors     will make you glad you came. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This is the only paddling section along Broad Creek.
