If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Maryland you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your camping stuff too. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for     more. The put-in location is a short drive from Hagerstown-Martinsburg, as you can see on the road map further down. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good rivers for that around here. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
