If you're coming from Winchester it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so you'd better keep in mind that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with     mother nature have a lot of people coming here. Briefly about the general area: A short spree to Robert Milborn Spring is always worthwhile, and nearby Mudlick Hollow is a good location to go. There's great hiking along the Gabriel Trail. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Fifteen Mile   Creek, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Fifteen Mile Creek are in the 10's.
