The Graves Run Road to Prettyboy Reservoir stretch of Gunpowder Falls in Baltimore County is 2 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II-III section. You can pitch a tent     or park your RV at a nearby campground. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This section is quite short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places.
