Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here. This is a pretty short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. The beautiful scenery of Maryland and the cool fresh water attract people from     near and far. This section of Jennings Run is 3.5 miles long and it is classified as a class III+ section by American Whitewater. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The Barrelville to Wills Creek section is the only paddling section along Jennings Run. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. There are many good hotels to choose from, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
