The natural beauty of Maryland and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This section is quite short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river     for a while have a lot of people coming here. There are many good hotels to choose from, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Jennings Run doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Barrelville to Wills Creek stretch is the only one. This stretch of Jennings Run in Allegany County is 3.5 miles long and has been rated as a class III+ section by American Whitewater.
