The scenic beauty of Baltimore County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. The Glen Arm Road to Gunpowder Falls section is the only paddling section along Long Green Creek. This is a somewhat short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. The average Maryland whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to     master than those in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. There are some good hotels near the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
