This stretch of Long Green Creek is 2 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV section of whitewater. No need to look hard for hotels, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.     Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. The scenic beauty of Baltimore County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. This is a somewhat short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. There are no other sections to paddle along Long Green Creek than the Glen Arm Road to Gunpowder Falls section. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that.
