Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Maryland are easier than the national norm, so better not forget that rivers here are not as hard as elsewhere. This stretch of Northeast Creek is 4 miles long and is a class V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There are many good hotels to choose from, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will     make you glad you came. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of rivers for that. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This is the only paddling stretch along Northeast Creek.
