There are no other stretches to paddle along Patuxent River than the Carroll Mill Road to Savage Mill stretch. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but do book a room before you come because     it is a very popular destination. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so why not pack your sleeping bag too.
