The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Winchester, as you can see on the road map further down. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so pack your camping stuff. You might have to settle
for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good places. The nature
