The Route 8A to Deerfield River section of Chickley River in Franklin County is 6 miles long and it is classified as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. If you're
