A short visit to South Hadley Falls is always worthwhile. Summer at Connecticut River arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's; night lows through the wintertime for Connecticut River tend to be in the 0's.
