The nature scenery of Berkshire County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream make the trip here worthwhile. The Mill River to Ashley Falls section of Konkapot Brook in Berkshire County is 11 miles long and is a class I-III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. There are nice comfortable hotels here, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. starting location is a short drive from Pittsfield, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. This is the only paddling stretch along Konkapot Brook. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good rivers for

The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here.

Konkapot Brook is a quite wet place commonly with lots of precipitation;
the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. The fine people of Pittsfield like to hang out nearby.
