Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. The South Royalston to Athol section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. The put-in location is a short drive from Keene, as you can see on the road map further down. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers for that.
