The Along Route 9 to North Branch Westfield River stretch of Swift River in Massachusetts is 1 miles long and is a class IV-V section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance     then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
