Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less demanding. This section of Westfield River - North Branch in Massachusetts is 9.2 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I-III section. This stretch is mid length, you can easily run it on an afternoon. There aren’t any hotels right
