The Highway 45 to Highway 45 stretch of Baltimore River in Ontonagon County is 5.4 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV+ section by American Whitewater. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Baltimore River doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Highway 45 to Highway 45 stretch is the only one.
