There are no other stretches to paddle along Bear River than the Petoskey stretch. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this area has a pretty small number of paddling spots. This section is very short so no need to bring snacks. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Lodging is available near the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.
